Another Cool Website

Anotther grest website I found this week is an online polling system that you can buid directly into your blog ...or into a forum post. The scrapbook forum I belong to used this tool alot for interactive forums. It really has come in handy

Talk Shoe

I am not able to do much today other than stay in bed .....from time to time today I have gotten up and surfed the web for 15 or 20 minutes at a time.

I found a new tool! Its called Talk Shoe. This new tool serves a duel purpose for me. It will absolutly help me as a podcaster and as a listener in my search for knowledge. I won't go into much detail because I am not feeling the best ....but keep on the lookout for something from me using this new tool.

PageFlakes

Okay ....Once again I have found the best of the best in my opinion. I have for many years been a user of an "Internet Start Page" ....such as Yahoo, MSN ...currently I use iGoogle ...which I thought nothing could ever compare with. This morning I found one that might just give Google a run for its money in this category. I have only seen this page for less than 15 seconds and knew it was worth posting a blog on. I can tell you this ..that I WILL have an account with PageFlakes before the day is done. Let me know what you think. Wow ...I'm Speechless

Don't have much time for this post ....and I will wrtie more this weekend. I got up this morning and was drinking my coffee and I typically do ..and I read news that Facebook has updated their platform ..so I took a peek. I was floored ...they did it right in every sense of the word right. So ...if your a friend of mine, take a look at the new Facebook and set up an account!!! Yikes! ..I have got to stop playing and get ready for work.

30 Boxes

If your like me and have signed up for every web 2.0 application there is ..there here is one more to add you your list. 30 boxes brings all your "other" things into one place ...and its pretty nifty. My life is totally an open book ......I love sharing mine and Roberts life with our friends and family. It does upset me though to have people look at my website with malicious intent. Anyhow ....as you can see ..I added a 30 BOXES link in the right side bar of this page

Bloglines

I have been trying to find a way to pull the daily rss feeds to my phone. Although I typically use my Google Reader everyday ....it was hard to read on my cell phone /PDA. I downloaded software with the highest rating called "Smart RSS". I didn't have to manually type in each rss feed if I used a website called BLOGLINES. I was very pleased when all my daily reads automatically download. I then am able to read my feeds on the go and on demand. I love it!

Audio blog added

I found a cool tool on the web that I have now put here on my page. It's called GABCAST ..and if you look to the right there it is. I thought it would be fun to add some sort of an audio blog that I can use ....especially on vacation. So ....stay tuned. I think you can even do a conference type of bog too ...I might just try it out and see what happens.

Google Reader .....WOW!

I often go to Google Labs to see what Google is working on these days. I came across "Google Reader" ...all I can say is WOW ..and Double WOW. I was even able to add a widget on this blog (located on the right side bar) that highlights the information I read that I want to share with my readers.

If you are reading this blog ..then I know you are reading other blogs and other information on the web. Take a minute and get your Google Reader up and running. I was even able to add it to my personalized Google Page. Have I ever mentioned that I love Google?

King Nutter

as I am enjoying this gift of a snow day laying in bed surfing the internet on my laptop I came across an great web site called King Nutter. This website tracks the weird ebay auctions you end up hearing about in the news. It also somehow manages to keep the video clips that get banned from You Tube. If you have never been to this website ...take a moment and register yourself ..its is well worth the minute it takes to sign up.

When I listen to my podcasts I often come across new information on new internet sites to visit and I want to share them with everyone. I am going to try and use the "label" or "tags" here in blogger to get this informaton out to those who want it. I will create a label called bookmarks. Anytime you would like to see what I feel is worthy of bookmarks ...just use my "bookmark" tag.

Black Friday with Brittany

I had one of my most enjoyable days spent with Brittany. Brittany and I set our alarms for 4:00 AM ..in order to be at the mall by 4:45 to stand in line for the mad rush of early bird specials. We had a blast!! At 12:30 we finally called it quits and headed back to our beds to catch up on the rest of our sleep for the day. My intent was to get into one of those Photo booths and get our picture taken ....but our legs wouldn't stop long enough from running to the sales. I had so much fun shopping with Brittany ....I am looking forward to repeating this again next year.
