Yet Another Hat to Wear

As mentioned in previous posts I have become obsessed with the art of scapbooking. Along with being a sales consultant for Mary Kay Cosmentics and Avon ...I am adding another one to the list. I wanted to get into some sort of a direct sales company and have done a lot of research. There are many to choose from. The scrapbooking sales company I have selected to represent is Memory Works. I just signed up yesterday. I chose them because unlike many others ..their prices are VERY reasonable. I am anxiously awaiting my start up kit to arrive in 7-10 business days. I am really looking forward to this.

Bringing it all Together

Over my lifetime there has been certain crafts and hobbies that I have stuck with. I always love to learn something new ...but I never have lost my love for designing a webpage ..that tells a story, taking pictures, and podcasting. I have found that with SCARPBOOKING I can bring all these loves together. I have started a new podcast called "Teach me to Scrap". My scrapbooking show is curently being hosted by podshow ...and you can find the first epidsodes with more to come at http://teachmetoscrap.podshow.com. I am really looking forward to doing this podcast. I have spend the last few days trying to get all of this set up. Take a listen and let me know what you think!

A New Serious Hobby

Over the past few months I have been getting involved with the craft of scrapbooking. It started out small ..and now is consuming a lot of my time. Every chance I get I am buying something that has to do with scrapbooking. I can say without a doubt that of all the crafts and hobbies I have been involved with ..this is by far my favorite. Here is a digital scrapbook page I did ...which in now simialiar to anything that I have been doing ...but it kinda give you an ideal of what the concept of scrapbooking is.

The Snow Ball

Last Saturday Brittany attended her first formal dance since being back at Clay Battelle High School. She didn't go with a date to this dance ....but had a nice time with her friends just hanging out.

Norma Takes The Pot

Congrats to Norma for winning game number four of the SaJulian Poker Tournament! The tournament was held last Sunsay ..its just taken me a week to get this posted. This was a double points rounds ...and I believe that Norma took the lead in the points standing. I think our next round will be held online. Everyone will be bringing their laptops and we will be setting up a private poker room in Party Poker ..at least that's what we are hoping to do. My brother is charged with trying to work out the details.

A long way from 100

Today is game number four of the SanJulian Poker TOurnament. I didn't get to play in the last one because of the flu bug ...so I am looking forward to this one even more.

It had been a long week ...and I have caught up on my rest some this weekend. Other than resting I have gotten myself involved into a new things this weekend. One of which is a new podcast. Stay tuned for details in the future. I think I am going to take a differnet approach hen starting this one ....but it has me excited.

I also played matchmaker some this weekend ..that was fun. I just love introducing new people to one another!

I have accepted the a challange of my brother to hit the 100 blog posts for the year 2007 ....I have a long way to go.

A long Day

I am stuck out of town on business today and wish that I were home with my husband that is not feeling very well today and didn't go to work.

Last night along with some coworkers we headed to the Charles Town Casino. I lost money in the slots ..and should have known better not to have played. Since we have a slot machine in our home ..I know what the odds are.

I had a few email communications with Dreama this week ....but our email conversations ended with me very frustrated with her. I have got to emotional let go of this ...because it is having an impact on my daily life. I just want her to reach ..if she would have reached the last few day ...I would have went all the way to the ends to do what I could to help her. Somehow ....I think she has finally convinced me that this is what she wants ..and that saddens me even more. I just have to let go ...what will be ...will be. I love her ..she knows that.

I'm sitting here in the hotel room at the desk they provide. For what ever reason ..they have a mirror ..so I have to look at myself while I am typing. For the first time in my 41 1/2 years ....I pulled my skin back ....like a need a face lift! OMG!! when did this happen. I always preach about aging gracefully ....but for the first time I am thinking FACE LIFT! Although ..I know this sudden feeling of panic will pass once I get in the loving arms of my family and realize that its not my face that needs to be up ....but the level of happiness, satisfaction, and love in the SanJulian household.

If I do get to leave early today ...I will be making a pit stop and Michael's while I wait for my hubby to come and get me .....DARN IT! I just hate being in rows and rows of scrapbooking supplies *lol* I have really taken up this hobby ...and have been doing at least a scrapbook layout every weekend for the past three weeks. There really is an art to the craft ..and not just throwing pictures to a page.

Weekend Tidbits

**The first week back to work after the new year was a long one ...for some odd a four day work week feels like a 6 day work week. By Friday Robert and I were ready for an after work nap ...which we enjoyed.


**Brittany had a doctors appointment this week and found out that she is going to be getting her braces off in 5 weeks. She has been sporting around her tin grin for three years and is so ready to show her straight pearly whites.

**My brother has challenge me to completing 100 blog post for the year 2007 ...which is a challenge I accepted without hesitation.

I have still been absorbing as much information I can on scrapbooking ...I am ready to do some more. I have a few things ordered from JoaAnn fabrics .....that I will need for my next scrapbooking project. I have also decided to take as many pictures that I can possible take. Because ...you need good meaningful photographs to have a good scrapbook.

I have come to accept that Ron and Dreama will not be working things out. I guess I had been hoping that this was just a big nightmare and I will wake up soon. I'm not Dreaming ...this is as real and as tragic as it gets. I haven't talked to Dreama at all ...but we talk to Ron almost daily to check upo n him and make sure he is hanging in there.

Robert, Ron and I went out on the four wheelers today. Ron took us around to a few places that we haven't been to ...it was fun riding on some new trails.

Brittany and I are heading to an afternoon matinee tomorrow before I head to Walmart for grocery shopping and some other errands.

Its not even 8:00 in the evening and I am ready to fall asleep. Robert is sitting hext to me watching Myth Busters on the Discovery channel and yawning.

I have to go out of town this week for work. I will only be gone for one night ..and I am sure Brittany will take her of Robert fo me.

Welcome 2007

Last night Robert and I along with close friends and some family rang in the new year. It was a nice evening and I am still cleaning up confetti.

Today, we are all just kinds chillin. Brittany's boyfriend is over to spend some time with her. They have been having a good time just hanging out and shooting pool. Robert and I are watching the Gator Bowl ...and I won $25 from a square Robert purchased for me last week at work.
